The Foundations of Manuscript Development is a two-part series designed to guide researchers through the essential stages of planning and writing an original research manuscript. Together, the sessions provide a structured roadmap for participants to position their work for successful journal submission and compliance with publisher, institutional, and research sponsor policies. This series is ideal for investigators at any stage who want a practical approach to navigating today’s increasingly complex and fast‑evolving scientific publishing landscape.

By the end of Part Two, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the purpose and content of the major sections of an original research article
  • Tailor the writing and emphasis for the target journal and audience
  • Describe best practices for organizing and revising a manuscript
