The NIH requires a Data Management and Sharing (DMS) plan for any grant application generating scientific data. Effective for applications with due dates on/after May 25, 2026, applicants and recipients are required to utilize a new, simpler format for DMS plans.

Investigators and research administrators are encouraged to attend this virtual training and Q&A session to learn about the updated elements of the NIH DMS plan institutional policies.
