Opioid Use Disorder Treatment, Policies, Access, and Outcomes - Ty Borders, PhD

The Center for Outcomes Research welcomes Ty Borders, PhD, to our distinguished lecture series. Dr. Borders is currently a Professor and Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky Endowed Chair in Rural Health Policy and the Director of the Rural and Underserved Health Research Center at the University of Kentucky. 

Key objectives of his presentation are:

  • To highlight the epidemiology of opioid use disorder in the U.S.
  • To describe federal and state policies aimed at increasing access to treatment for opioid use disorder.
  • To illustrate how policies are influencing the accessibility and quality of opioid use disorder treatment.

Lunch will be provided to the first 25 attendees.
