Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) is one of the most common autoimmune orbital diseases in the world, affecting at least one in ten women in the United States by the age of 50. Making the diagnosis of TED is critical, as it can not only improve patients’ ocular health, comfort, and vision, but can also be potentially be vision or life-saving. This course will provide a clinical overview of the disease, and identify how to make the proper diagnosis of Thyroid Eye Disease. In addition the course will address medical and surgical treatment options for patients with TED.
