November is Hospice & Palliative Care Month. In observance, Supportive and Palliative Care will be presenting a 3-day virtual education series: Caring for Body, Mind, and Spirit.

Nov. 8-10, 2022 | 11AM – 2PM

Let’s recognize and celebrate the physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, therapists and other members of the multidisciplinary teams who bring this valuable and specialized care to our patients, families and community.

Palliative Care is a treatment approach that improves the quality of life of patients and their families facing problems associated with life threatening illness, through prevention of suffering by means of early identification and impeccable assessment and treatment of pain and other problems, whether they be physical, psychosocial, or spiritual.  Palliative care can be provided to all patients and families from the time of diagnosis and throughout the course of their illness.
