Coverage Analysis is a formal review of study documentation and Medicare billing rules to determine which items and services performed as a part of a clinical research study may be legally billed to insurance, and which items must be paid for by the study account (or sponsor).  This two-day workshop presented by Huron provides Houston Methodist employees with the necessary tools for making this determination by reviewing applicable rules and regulations and providing an in-depth overview on how to determine if a study is a qualifying clinical trial.  It is recommended that Research Administrators, Operations Managers, Clinical Trial Managers and others involved in negotiating a study budget or reviewing EPIC bill hold participate in this workshop.
