Novel therapeutics have succeeded in reaching people with neurologic diseases with sometimes remarkable benefit -- like deep brain stimulation for Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor and dystonia. Improving upon existing clinical device platforms has had limited impact, while there remains considerable neurologic disease burden that remains unaddressed. How we innovate together along the entire preclinical to clinical development pipeline may be the key to bringing forward the next era of neurological therapies
