The objectives of this seminar include: provide an overview of the IRB’s role ensuring that studies comply with ethical standards and regulations, explain the process for obtaining informed consent from participants, mention any special consent considerations, outline how participant data will be protected, discuss any potential future amendments to the study protocol and how they will be communicated to the IRB, and encouraging IRB members to provide feedback or ask questions to clarify any aspects of the study or its protocols.
