HMCC Education Series: Dementia Takes a Village: Evaluation and Resources CME & CEU

This CME/CEU event is designed to educate physicians and nurses who treat and care for patients with dementia. It will include ways to detect it, how to find resources and case examples.

Within the U.S., approximately 5.7 million people are living with dementia (Alzheimer’s Association, 2019). Alzheimer’s disease accounts for approximately 60%–70% of these cases, followed by vascular dementias (National Institute on Aging 2019). These numbers are expected to rise as life expectancy increases.

This event will be hosted at multiple locations, including HM TMC, HM Willowbrook, HM The Woodlands, HM West, HM Sugar Land, HM Baytown and the HMPCG Pearland MOB.
