Nature contact plays a vital role in physical, mental, and community well-being, yet many individuals have limited access to nature in their daily lives. In this session of the Health & Nature Series, Jay Maddock, PhD, will explore the current prevalence of nature contact across the United States, examine disparities in access, and review ongoing efforts to expand nature engagement through policy, planning, and public health initiatives. Attendees will also discuss opportunities for innovation to help strengthen connections between people and nature and support a growing movement for health.
