This 90-minute Faculty Development workshop covers elements to consider when developing a grant budget: inflation, allowable and unallowable costs, key personnel versus consultants, patient care costs, and direct and indirect costs as it pertains to key personnel. Also addressed are issues a Principal Investigator (PI) needs to consider, examples of how a PI should write a budget, budgeting supplies, and on-a-fee basis, etc.
