Violence in healthcare settings is a growing epidemic. Healthcare workers account for 12% of the working population, but are the victims of over 75% of workplace assaults.
"Code Purple: Workplace Violence in the Healthcare Setting" is a one-day multidisciplinary course designed to educate healthcare providers on strategies for identification, prevention, de-escalation and response to acts of aggression in the workplace. Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and other healthcare providers will be presented with best practices for maintaining staff and patient safety.
