DESCRIPTION:Moonsoo M. Jin\, PhD\, will present his recent bench-to-bedside
  example of developing chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells against can
 cer\, how the strategy of fine-tuning the affinity of CAR to make CAR T ce
 lls safer\, and the introduction of a genetic reporter for imaging CAR T c
 ells in patients by PET/CT. Dr. Jin will also touch on the challenges of T
  cells therapy against solid cancers\, single-cell analysis revealing a lo
 ss of function of CAR T cells\, and combination strategies to rejuvenate T
  cells to regain tumor killing. Lastly\, he will describe a multiscale app
 roach of delivering radiation to tumor and T cells to synergize with cell
