Dr. Moon develops biomaterial-based strategies to improve cancer immunotherapy by modulating the gut microbiome and activating STING. Oral inulin-gel enhances beneficial microbial communities, strengthens antitumor immunity, and reduces immune-related toxicity, with clinical evaluation underway. He also engineers manganese-containing lipid nanoparticles for safe systemic STING agonist delivery and potent antitumor responses.
