Kidney Transplantation in Patients with a History of Cancer

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

1.  Screen any patient for pre-existing cancer as a standard part of the kidney transplant evaluation
2.  Consider which cancers should be considered as a contraindication for future kidney transplant?
3.  Know which cancers recur and which have an increased risk due to the transplant itself.
