The NIH requires a Data Management & Sharing (DMS) Plan for all grant applications generating scientific data. Join us for a 90-minute session led by Shaefali Rodgers, PhD, Manager, Faculty & Research Development to learn how to craft and implement your DMS plan effectively. This session will cover the importance of data sharing, scope of NIH’s policy, six required elements and policy compliance. Israel Ramirez, MS, Office of Grants Administration and Richard Sucgang, PhD, Center for Health Data Science & Analytics will provide expert insights into Houston Methodist policies and good DMS practices. Faculty, trainees and staff are encouraged to attend; whether you are new to NIH grant submissions or seeking to refine your DMS plan, this session will provide up-to-date policy guidance, resources and actionable advice.
