Liver diseases have become more prevalent and primary care physicians face increasing challenges in their prompt recognition, diagnosis and management. The burden of liver ailments is further expected to increase. This conference is targeted specifically for the primary care physician/internist.
The goal of this meeting is to provide an overview of the most common liver diseases seen in the community and to bridge the learning gap between primary care and the latest advances and developments in the field of hepatology, particularly given the rapid pace of clinical growth in this area in the past decade. We will provide a practical approach that attendees will be able to integrate into their daily practice.
